For The Love of Swoon Giveaway Hop: Pride & Prejudice (DVD series and companion book!)

I could imagine that the lot of you all will be swooning on Valentine's Day. But us readers know that sometimes literature can give us the same effect. The Book Hookup and I Am A Reader, Not A Writer kept this in mind when they organized this hop.

One element that makes me swoon is a lead male character who is determined to win his crush's heart. Now I do not mean being pushy. I love when a hero can eliminate the flaws that can ruin him. It takes a lot of willpower to do so. The initial antagonism between Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennett of Pride and Prejudice proves that a determined man can change for the better with the help of reflection and a transformation.

I will be giving away a DVD copy of Pride & Prejudice - The Special Edition (A&E Miniseries). It is a two-disc DVD set that is great for Austen fans, book clubs and movie buffs. It is a 1996 movie, but I know many will appreciate it. That Keira Knightley one sucked beans to me. Due to shipping costs, this prize is only for US residents, and will be bought through Amazon.

International followers, I am sorry that I am unable to offer the DVD set as prize for you. However, I will be giving away a paperback copy of Pride & Prejudice which will be bought through The Book Depository. This edition is the companion to the DVD set above. It will be purchased through The Book Depository so make sure they ship to you.
