3rd Annual Mid-winter's Eve Giveaway Hop: Any book from Amazon up to $12

It is time for another blog hop! This one is hosted by I Am A Reader, Not A Writer and Oasis for YA

Okay, Christmas is right around the corner, so the prize for this giveaway is any book from Amazon that does not exceed $12. You get to choose your prize!
Trust me, there are many great books out there that fall within this range.

Here are a few that I would get my hands on:

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer
Michelle Hodkin

Mara Dyer doesn’t think life can get any stranger than waking up in a hospital with no memory of how she got there.

It can.

She believes there must be more to the accident she can’t remember that killed her friends and left her mysteriously unharmed.

There is.

She doesn’t believe that after everything she’s been through, she can fall in love.

She’s wrong.

Daughter of Smoke & Bone
Laini Taylor

Around the world, black hand prints are appearing on doorways, scorched there by winged strangers who have crept through a slit in the sky.

In a dark and dusty shop, a devil's supply of human teeth grows dangerously low.

And in the tangled lanes of Prague, a young art student is about to be caught up in a brutal otherwordly war.

Meet Karou. She fills her sketchbooks with monsters that may or may not be real; she's prone to disappearing on mysterious "errands"; she speaks many languages—not all of them human; and her bright blue hair actually grows out of her head that color. Who is she? That is the question that haunts her, and she's about to find out.

When one of the strangers—beautiful, haunted Akiva—fixes his fire-colored eyes on her in an alley in Marrakesh, the result is blood and starlight, secrets unveiled, and a star-crossed love whose roots drink deep of a violent past. But will Karou live to regret learning the truth about herself?

Divergent
Veronica Roth

In Beatrice Prior's dystopian Chicago world, society is divided into five factions, each dedicated to the cultivation of a particular virtue--Candor (the honest), Abnegation (the selfless), Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the peaceful), and Erudite (the intelligent). On an appointed day of every year, all sixteen-year-olds must select the faction to which they will devote the rest of their lives. For Beatrice, the decision is between staying with her family and being who she really is--she can't have both. So she makes a choice that surprises everyone, including herself.

During the highly competitive initiation that follows, Beatrice renames herself Tris and struggles alongside her fellow initiates to live out the choice they have made. Together they must undergo extreme physical tests of endurance and intense psychological simulations, some with devastating consequences. As initiation transforms them all, Tris must determine who her friends really are--and where, exactly, a romance with a sometimes fascinating, sometimes exasperating boy fits into the life she's chosen. But Tris also has a secret, one she's kept hidden from everyone because she's been warned it can mean death. And as she discovers unrest and growing conflict that threaten to unravel her seemingly perfect society, she also learns that her secret might help her save those she loves . . . or it might destroy her.

  9. Just a few clarifications:

Remember those books I listed are not your pre-selected choices. You don't have to pick Divergent, Daughter of Smoke and Bone, etc.

You get to pick any physical book you desire, as long as it does cost more than $12.

The shipping fee is excluded. If a book costs 11.99, plus $2.99 shipping, you can still get it.

Also, there will be no Kindle books gifted. Only hardcover/paperback books qualify.

Lastly, this is a US giveaway. Next year, I will begin using The Book Depository for giveaways too.

    Thanks for reading this.
